What experience is needed to be a travel nurse?
Minimum experience requirements vary based on the medical employer and/or job location, but generally Registered Nurses are required to have 1 year of work experience in the specialty.
What is the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)?
Developed by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) makes it easier for nurses living in certain states to find travel nursing jobs across states. If you are a nurse living in 1 of 29 states, you are eligible to apply for a multi-state nursing license to practice in all those states.
