-Check out local events - use social media and check out some free entertainment in your area! Ask around for any upcoming events surrounding holidays or new seasons.

-Connect with the travel nurse community - Online there are many great spaces to find other travelers in your area to connect with. Through social media and online groups you get a chance to get out and explore your new location with other individuals who are looking to do the same.

-Leave town - Go outside your local area and find out what is around you. Perhaps a national park or unique landscape is within a short drive. Depending on your scheduling you can plan for some amazing retreats!
