Initially people make the switch for the adventure, or the high pay but they fall in love with the lifestyle that allows nurses to see different parts of the country and experience new cultures. Travel nursing can also positively impact your nursing career, enhancing your skills by the many different settings and people that you get to work alongside.


As you are considering switching from staff nurse to travel nurse there are a number of things to think about. Working as a traveler is a different lifestyle than you would experience as a veteran staff nurse.
